Burlock was launched with the idea that it doesn’t have to cost a fortune to live with great design. Both our online shop and design services are based on this concept. Nicole Ashey, the firm’s principal, is a strong believer in being earth-friendly. In her design work, she supports this belief by working with what clients already have. The purchases she makes on their behalf or for her online store, are often vintage, from the Hudson Valley or handmade by local artisans.
